3 Weeks Later

I kept forgetting that we had a blog and that I needed to share music here. Sorry! For sure I listened to some good music. I usually make notes in my notebook at work when I find something interesting, but I couldn't find any notes today unfortunately.

Anyway, I am choosing this one more for the video than the song. I love travel videos and this one of India was lovely to watch. There's so much diversity and beauty in India; more than one video can contain. Lyrics are good too, so pay attention. :)

Glory Days : James Ollier

Sudhir's Pick:

A new favourite on the Indian indie scene. Check it out. I think you might like it.

Give me a Minute

Sudhir's Pick:
I think he is rapidly becoming one of my favourite contemporary singers. I quite enjoy the video too. Anyone who can hold your attention for so long by just sitting on a chair... is a stand-up guy. Hope you like it.

Hold My Girl : George Ezra

Tanisha's Pick:
This featured on my playlist this week at work. Not a new song, but such a good find. I listened to his newer album Love and Hate - his lyrics have some pretty strong themes, but the depth and feeling of the music takes away from the overarching despairing feel.

Have a good week.

Camino and Banners

Just a fun song I found which I think you might like.
Hope you do.

California : The Band Camino

Hey there,
I've been listening to a bunch of new music lately, but stingy-ly not sharing on the blog. Actually, some of the new stuff I can't even find on youtube. But this is a fun catchy one you will like. They seem to be somewhat popular but this is the first time I am hearing of them.
Hope your week is a good one!

New Favourite

Sudhir's Pick:

I think this has the potential to be a new favourite for both of us. Hope you like it. I think the words will especially be meaningful.

Moving Forward : Colony House

Tanisha's Pick:

The last couple weeks have been so busy and I don't know how all the time just flew by. The other day it hit me that I've been back in Delhi for two months. Sometimes my grasp of time is very muddled up!

I loved being up in the mountains in Manali a few weeks ago, but it just makes living in Delhi all the more difficult. I really do miss my walks on the beach in Senegal. It was my daily therapy for a few months. By the way, my piano from Bangalore has a new home in my house in Delhi-- my new daily therapy. It's been super fun being reunited. :)

Enjoy the song- sad lyrics, but good voices. Have a good week. We should catch up sometime.

Hurt Somebody : Noah Kahan & Julia Muchaels

Rescue me from the Wild

I discovered this song quite randomly and was pleasantly surprised that it was a Mumbai-based artist. Interesting video to go along with the mellow accompaniment and voice. I'm sure you'll like it.
It's been a long week, and will be a busy week ahead too. But I am excited for a change of scenery away from the city and to the mountains.

Wild : Dhruv Visvanath

I wonder what this song would sound like if it weren't so electronic. As usual, the lyrics of the song shine through for me. Hope you enjoy it. Take a look at the description of the song. Helps put things in perspective.

Out of Excuses

Tanisha's Pick:
I've run out of excuses not to post on the blog. I am not traveling, I got a new laptop, I have Amazon Prime music and I even made time this week to listen to lots of music. I love the rawness of acoustic music, and this one is done so well. The piano drives the melody and the guy singing has a great range. Enjoy.

For Myself : Etham

Sudhir's Pick:
So you know how much I love The Killers. I thought I had my favourites set until I remembered this classic, which I think might be their most underrated song. It's been on repeat for most of the day.

The Way It Was : The Killers

Unaware

Sudhir's Pick:

You might have heard this one before. It seems very much like something you will like. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Glad that we are on the same time zone again for a bit.

Unaware : Allen Stone

Hello hello! It's been a crazy busy last couple of weeks, but all full of good things. Back in Delhi and back to good internet and good music streaming. While I was in England, I also downloaded Spotify. Here's something I listened to today. Have a good week!

Blank Space / Stand by Me : Imagine Dragons
